Dan + Shay wrote “When I Pray for You” with Jon Nite and Justin Ebach for the Lionsgate original motion picture, The Shack. This song was inspired by Shay Mooney’s soon to be fatherhood. In celebration of the The Shack’s release, Dan + Shay will perform “When I Pray for You” on NBC’s TODAY, after attending the premiere.
The Shack is in theaters starting March 3rd.
Dan + Shay are up for two awards at the 52nd annual Academy of Country Music Awards. They were nominated for Vocal Duo of the Year as well as New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year.
